​New America’s Fellows Program invests in thinkers, journalists, scholars, filmmakers, and public policy analysts pursuing creative and public-minded projects. With this support, many of their books and publications have become New York Times bestsellers or finalists for Pulitzer Prizes and the National Book Award.

This commissioned compendium of 25 Fellows marks New America’s twenty-fifth anniversary, and invites these individuals to share how they confront power, find truth, and reimagine what’s possible.
